Based at The Dairy Studios in Brixton, Hugh's creative approach as a Producer has gained him credits with acts including Crystal Fighters, Delphic, Will Joseph Cook, Jamie N Commons, Michael Kiwanuka, Rae Morris and Birdy. Using his skills as a multi-instrumentalist and programmer, complemented further by his degree in classical music, Hugh has worked across a wide range of genres with both established and emerging artists.
Most recently Hugh has been finishing the production on Will Joseph Cook's highly anticipated debut album for Atlantic Records which follows on from his well received production of Will's debut EPs 'You Jump I Run' and 'Proof Enough’. Hugh’s work with Will has amassed over 10 million streams on Spotify, three playlists on BBC Radio 1 and Annie Mac’s record of the week with latest single “Sweet Dreamer”. Lead tracks from the EPs have topped the Hype Machine charts three times, and Will recently earned a place in Spotify and Buzzfeed's artists to watch over the coming year.
Hugh has also contributed to the writing on two tracks for Crystal Fighters third album “Everything Is My Family” due out later this month, with one track “Ways I Can’t Tell” premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show and the other track "In Your Arms" featuring in a major advertising campaign for VO5 hair products..
Hugh’s work has received widespread online and print press coverage, multiple 'Next Hypes' with Zane Lowe during his tenure at BBC Radio 1 and high profile and sustained international radio play from the likes of KCRW and Triple J.
Hugh is also an accomplished writer having written for a wide range of projects, gaining syncs on major TV and online advertising campaigns and releases with several major label artists including both Leo Stannard (Black Butter/Sony) and Will Joseph Cook (Atlantic). Hugh has also been working with Crystal Fighters, Cameron Bloomfield, Albin Lee Meldau, James TW, Grace Barker, Jake Isaac, Rhys Lewis and Clean Bandit Collaborator Love Ssega.

Signed to Ultra Music Publishing as a Songwriter/Producer and to HotHot/Polydor Records as an Artist, Jamie Haj's musical sensibilities have been shaped by his classically trained beginnings, achieving a Diploma on the drums and spending time out on the road playing for various bands before settling into the studio environment.
